Influence of Agro Meteorological Indices on Different Sowing Time of Irrigated Maize in Western Agro-Climatic Zone of Tamil Nadu

A field trial with different sowing windows of the maize crop was done in Eastern Block Farm Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, Nadu, India. The were scheduled mid every month for four seasons. treatments Kharif (2019) – June 15th, July and August 15th; Rabi (2019-2020) September October November Late (2020-2021) December January February Summer (2021) March April May 15th. agrometeorological indices viz., growing degree days (GDD), helio thermal unit (HTU), photo (PTU), relative temperature disparity (RTD) seasonal efficiency worked out to find suitable cropping period maximum yield this changing climatic scenario. Of seasons taken study, more cultivation provided better than other western agroclimatic zone Nadu.
